tipoff Although we are not therapists, and not even sure we should be giving out advice given the current screaming in the background, we did think you would want to hear about this find. Time Out Spots are designed to help discipline children ages 18 months and up. The founder suggests that when a behavior problem arises, children should be given one warning. If they do not obey, they should be sent to sit on their "Time Out Spot." When calling a time-out one minute of time out is recommended for each year of the child's age. Time out discipline is a very effective way to manage unwanted behavior. If only they made one for daddies!
stylebio When Nicole Lathouse Gilbert was very young living in Hawaii, she would dress big bull-frogs in baby clothes and ride them around in her baby buggy! The graduate from the Art Institute of Atlanta went from bull frog dressing to working as an artist for a very large baby clothing company and then moved on to paint murals. All the while, whimsical little children's characters danced in her head. In fact the first character, which later became the basis for the entire line, was doodled on the wall of a house she was painting. Nicole's husband convinced her to pursue children's art and start the baby clothing company that she had been talking about for 2 years and in 2004 t-o-o-o cute! baby inc. was born. Nicole hope says, "I hope when you look at my art, I am able to give you a smile and even a giggle!"
