The Alora Ambiance products are produced by the sister team of Annie and Therese Gibbons and were inspired by their 15 years spent living and laughing in the picturesque mountain region of Lake Como, Italy. While shopping one afternoon, they saw a room fragrance in a tiny local shop similar to what would become our signature diffuser. Its scent didn't impress them but the ease of design did. They fell in love with the product and the fact that it was so simple and effective and knew others would too. The sisters returned to the family farm in Minnesota in hopes of turning their little family project into a viable business. Though neither of them had spent more than a holiday vacation on the farm in many years, they both knew it was the only place to develop Alora Ambiance. In those early days, they recruited family
and friends to help them with virtually every element of the business including hand assembling the first 8,000 diffusers. Therese says, "hearing people share that when they open their front door it immediately smells like home is the greatest measure of success."
